Thank you for taking the time to make this appeal. The big debate here is if the newton launcher is a prop manipulating weapon or a weapon that just so happenes to be able to manipulate props, in much the same way you could shoot a minecart with any gun and it will move. I do think this needs to be discussed by the LT so a clarification can be made but in my opinion while i do think the intention behind the newton launcher is for it to push players not prop kill i also do not have much of an issue with it being allowed. When prop killing with a magneto stick its almost impossible to track down who did it but when a newton launcher is used we at least have the shot logs of them firing the launcher at the same second someone is killed by the world. Realistically this situation is very rare anyway but a clarification does need to be made.

As for this case after talking to the staff member who punished you we have agreed that the punishment will be removed. It was just the two of you left alive and the outcome would have not changed had you not used the newton launcher as he was busy handling reports at the time, a harpoon or any normal gun would have done the exact same. I will say however that until a clarification is made that no one should go around trying to prop kill with the newton launcher.
