I think your confused a bit or you linked the wrong post. In the post you linked no changes were made to your actual VIP or booster pack count. You simply relinked your current forum account to a new steam ID. I have double checked and this account only has VIP once. Please in the future direct any questions about VIP status to the contact us page as you will get a response weekly during the CM team meeting.
