As much as i think this would help it also wouldn't IMO. I think Zarp as got such a two sided reputation. By this i mean those who are new join and realize that everyone on the server already has a lot of OP weapons (even things like m202's could be considered OP to new people) and once they realize this is will probably leave. Even if you change the damage output or remove weapons or buff printers they will probably not join back since they wont be aware of these changes. The gmod community is inevitably decreasing so making zarp friendly for new players IMO isn't what will make zarp more popular again, instead its letting players who have already joined the server and think theres no chance of them getting anywhere in the community realize things have changed. That is once they've change obviously.
Hope this actually makes sense, it does in my head.
They most likely would ask around when raided and be told tguns are like 20m, suits 100s of mils and be like "This is 20m? I just based for 3 hours and made 300k! This is a trash server I am going to leave." But if they got more money from basing it could motivate them to play more and actually spend time on the server and have fun grinding towards items. That's my look at it at least
