There is nothing wrong with this apart from you misusing it. The riot shield doesn't make you immune to damage, this is why people use normal weapons and not a mini 2. If you want something to blame blame sp00ns for using a mini 2. If you were in a suit I would understand but I'm fairly sure that riot shield doesn't make you completely immune to damage.
