New shop system is terrible

I really like how the LT tries to deny that people are not happy with the update. I have not encountered anyone who unironically told me they like the new pointshop mechanics lmao. It doesnt look bad, but who asked for fucking card packs. I honestly dont want to have to trust into "RANDOMNESS" to get a skin. I always got annoyed enough when I wanted a skin and I had to spin the wheel to get the case and be lucky to get the skin then. I now have to trust into luck evertime I want something? I could just buy any MMORPG and experience the feeling of grinding with the factor of "Randomness" there, I dont want to experience that in gmod thats just bs. And for the reimbursements, you tell me that people who play on the server for a long time, who literally gathered millions of points and a nice collection of skins, loose all of that and get 10 shitty card packs and barely enough to activate one skin back, which they dont even probably like? That is not "rewarding" old players, its just fucking them in the ass ngl. New players never had a hard time getting into PS, they had to play for like a week and they could afford a Skin, if not someone who played longer gave them one already. It might be possible that it is easier to implement stuff now, but like at what costs. Stop making it look less worse than it is atm

Lmao, I dont know if you read it or not, but I dont try to invalidate what you said. I even said in the reply that it doesnt look bad and that it is nice that it is easier to implement new things now. But the community has spoken already and a lot of people are angry about the fact that they lost everything and got some shitty skins back in return, for their months of grinding those other skins and points. The only thing I see on here is how the LT tries to make less of a deal out of it than it actually is.

Im not sure why you continue to group the LT as if we are all trying to make it less of a deal than it actually is. I for one am not a fan of the inventory wipes or the new card pack based system, and I joined the spacer with the CM team to make that clear and for them to understand my and the players concerns. They have already stated the inventory wipe is necessary and there isnt much I can do about that, and I understand their reason for doing so. I was asking for compensations (which were already the plan) and feel as though the compensation given wasnt enough for what was lost. I also brought up the idea of having a base shop where players can purchase what they wish, and the rare/legendary items will come from the card packs which will ensure their rarity and help the pointshop economy in the long run. I don't believe the current system of every skin/item coming from a card pack and being random is a good idea, and changes are going to be made in the future. Don't discredit the whole TTT LT as if we are just accepting of this current pointshop model and allowing anything to happen to it as that is not the case, Im trying my best to balance the interests of the players on the server with those of the CM team and pointshop economy, and feel the current plan for the pointshop is great, as new changes will be implemented.

Ok, maybe it was a bit rude of me to group the whole TTT leadteam together and just blame all of you(which wasnt my intend), but I was kinda angry when I typed it up so I apologise for that and I am happy that there will be changes to the pointshop in the future. BUT I'll stand by my point that some LT member try to make it look less worse and I still dont think it was needed, what fucked up the economy in the first place *cough* *cough*. You shouldnt punish everyone, when only some people abused it and ruined the economy, because there were some people who didnt, but hey the change already happened, nothing we can change
