After talking to Poseidon, we discussed what happened and he agreed that the story you told was true, and he thought you were a part of a joke to 'sacrifice' someone to the nether portal, so he didn't intend to annoy or upset you. I spoke to him about it and he knows he was in the wrong, and wanted to apologise to you for killing you. as you can see above. He knows this isn't acceptable, and he will be more careful in future, so consider this report accepted.
