Applying for Community Council requires a lot of trust and dedication. With what people say about you, you tend to fight back on what they say. Whilst speaking on the Community's behalf, I don't see you getting close to this.

Take some time to evaluate what a Community Council member has to do (speak to CM team members or some existing Community Council members) and see if you are fit for this role. With your standing in the community, it's not gonna be easy more or less a chance you may not get it.
