⚜️Why are you interested in being part of the Community Council?⚜️
I see the community council as a step in the right direction, historically there has always been a divide between High ranked staff members and the community. This divide has been something that has negatively affected the community in the long term, players believe they have not been heard and that there opinions and ideas not taken seriously. What most of us always wanted were people in higher places to listen to us. And as demonstrated by my previous ranks and dedication I believe I have demonstrated my skill sets and believe they're well suited to this position, I have recently contemplated returning to the staff team but I don't have that type of time to dedicate due to throwing people out of football stadiums, While this role will allow me to contribute towards zarp without me having to be dedicated on a certain server and I will be able to voice the opinions of all players of zarp.
⚜️ Why do you believe you should be selected for the Community Council? ⚜️
I have been a member of zarp for around 6 years throughout this time I have gained multiple lead team positions on multiple servers and as such have demonstrated my capability to deliver well-constructed arguments for and against subjects that are brought up and I'm not afraid to voice my opinion even if it does not conform to the majority's. Although I am no longer staff I still interact with members of the community on a regular basis, Some may see not being staff on a server as a negative but I see it as a positive thing as it will allow me to dedicate more time towards community Council activities and will not cloud any judgment due to any rank that I may have or fear that my opinions may make me unpopular with certain groups of staff or people
I also still speak to some of the older players and understand their viewpoints and what they would like added/removed to make the server more appealing to them, as well as hearing the viewpoint of newer players throughout the years in f1 situations regarding questions that they have had and things they agree and disagree with.
As stated above I have seen first hand the effects of players feeling that they are not being listed to or represented and feel that this is the perfect time for a change. I am a very easily approachable person and even tho I am no longer staff I am approached most days from people asking for help or advice and always try my best to answer their questions or point them in the right direction.
Simply saying no or yes to suggestions is not the way that suggestions should be dealt with, all suggestions should be discussed from all angles and the long term effects should be taken into account, usually suggestions are subject to a yes or no vote or someone just screaming objection, when suggestions are denied there is usually no discussion as to any form of alternative. this is something that needs to be addressed,
