We're disabling weapons that are not wanted, no one is exactly losing anything.

No. The main post says we are going to use the same database.

defeats the whole purpose for me at least tbh, i don't see it surviving unless it has a separate database and a fresh start w/ other ways of getting items to accompany it, because it'll just become stale very quickly, as ssrp currently has done
