If what your story says is true (just a mistake on a keypad) makes no real sense to warn you. This stuff happens all the time. I could understand if you didnt bother having a keypad but the fact you put the effort of putting keypads up ETC and even had a door on the prop sounds to me like it was a causal mistake.
