If you did run over an unidentified body then he had a reason to shoot you. The only issue is as staff it's hard to prove whether you did or did not run over a body, which explains why nothing happened with the report.

Unless you have video evidence that proves you didn't walk over an un-Id'd body (or unless a staff member saw what happened) we can't really warn the person that shot you.
