Scanning with a scan master is not raiding, it's not a weapon and it's not punishable for you to scan a base as a non-raiding job. If you decide to try raid it though by attacking people, blowing stuff up etc you'll get in trouble though.

And unless things have been changed since before stealing printers just lying around isn't considered raiding either.
