It is not meant to be a vanilla server. I am aiming to do something that 07-scape has achieved. They returned to an era back in time but they are still moving forward and keeping the game fresh. The key lesson here is consistency with all decisions and not float away to something completely else; Zarp went from being a dynamic, creative, varying and unique server - To a Pay2win, richer get richer- shit storm.
For example, the hand cannon but not exclusive to- removed the basing aspect of things completely. I wish to retain those key core gamemodes. Another important factor is retaining a more balanced economy. I understand the argument to why Zarp is fine, however many key parts, such as buying guns is simply a chore and does not challenge the player, obtaining a nuke on the other hand is a prime example of what I'm talking about, and one of the few remaining features that actually is useful.
And no, it won't follow the footsteps of Zarp. It will focus on gameplay, fresh content and balancing. Suits are undecided yet but if they were be added, it would be 300 hp type suits with more creative abilities.
Explosives is likely going to be around from the start. Gangs as well. The gang system will be redone completely.
