there's been a discussion about this before and it was concluded that if you are 100% certain no one else is there you could kill them.

yes but how can u be 100% certain

say you've been in the nether for quite a while and checked every corner, you know for certain no one else is there. Someone comes through the portal and suddenly the trap is activated. You have evidence that it must have been them.

well as vodka said sa1l kosed him as soon as the trap went off so he couldent have benn 100% sure
