Im not sure if any of the newer ttt staff have bothered to read the staff ethos but it does encourage you to look at a situation and decide if a punishment is needed or not, it also recommends not to punish users for very minor rule breaks. I would say 10 damage counts as minor.

The Staff Ethos is just a guide meant for staff members on how to behave and how to deal with such Users, it is not mandatory that you follow it, though it still doesn't give Lil the right to treat the User like that.

The staff member can determine any punishment he feels is right.

It is mandatory you follow it, however if you are abusive it doesn’t apply to you, sai didn’t seem to be abusive so he would be protected under the ethos
