Taylor's Teamspeak Head Administrator Application

How would you handle a TS3 appeal?:

I would first read through the appeal and post that i will be handling it. Then i'd review the appeal again in more detail and look at evidence if any was given. I would then see which Teamspeak staff member gave the ban and i would contact them to discuss in further detail. Finally, i would explain my point of view and ask the staff member if he/she agrees with my justification. If the staff member didn't agree i would always listen to him/her and come up with a verdict that we both would agree on.

Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used
appropriately:

Ban

This command will ban someone from connecting to the TeamSpeak server. This is to only be used in serious situations like breach of TOU with multiple rule breaks.

Kick from channel

This command will kick the user from their current channel to the AFK/Lobby. This could be used for a single TOU breach like someone mic spamming after given a verbal.

Kick from server

This command will kick the user from the whole server making them have to reconnect. This would be used for a more serious punishments like multiple TOU breaches but let off with out a ban. If a user persisted i would ban.

Remove user avatar:

This command will remove the user's Teamspeak avatar. used when avator breaks TOU. Discrimination for example.

Set server group:

This command will add a server rank eg : "Bunny Hop Moderator" to a user if he/she needed the badge for a server position. can also be used to remove a rank if someone was demoted or had resigned.

What would I do different with my new powers?

If i was to be accepted to the Teamspeak Head Administrator team i would gain newer powers that i would use to the best of my ability to make sure that the teamspeak environment is in a good standing with the teamspeak staff and users. I would also be able to handle appeals which some times take quite a while to get handled and completed. If i was accepted i would be able to handle these cases and get a verdict out quickly and professionally. I have handled many reports on ts when i have been poked for a staff to come and i believe i am quite worthy of this promotion. I'm also very contactable with 24/7 teamspeak open so i can see any pokes and i will reply as soon as i get back. Also extremely active on forums and a big portion of the community as whole.
