Story/Situation - I got an official for using a certain command that I am now informed I should not use in certain scenarios, the kick command. There was a guy constantly breaking NLR and I obviously don't see any logic in warning them over and over again so I kicked them from the server, I was asked why I had used the kick command and explained what happened. I was told I shouldn't use it in those situations and a different punishment would be better, I guess a jail is more fitting so that's what I'll be doing from now on.

Second time this occurred was when I was being greatly disrespected during a sit, he was verbally warned an excessive amount of times during the sit to stop disrespecting but still persisted. After I had completed the sit, he was voice muted for 5 minutes. After they got voice muted, they headed straight to the ooc chat and disrespected me there, I kicked them for this. With me being used to staffing on pointshop, a kick is usually followed after a mute/gag, then possibly a ban if they carry on after a kick. That's how I've always been trained and told to staff, and that's what most do on pointshop servers. I was never told of anything to do with this in my moderator or admin training therefore I presumed it would be similar on ssrp to on pointshop. I've now learned that a further mute with a longer length is more suffice and I will be doing that from now on.

I don't feel an official warning was necessary here as I was not using commands in an abusive nor harmful way, just using them in situations where there was better punishments available, which of course I am now aware of.
Extra Information - This took me by surprise because it turns out the LT forgot to even alert me of my official warning and it's only now, 3 days after the meeting, I accidentally found out about it while speaking to Onion who presumed I had already been told about it. I do disagree with the official warning reason as I feel it is harsh, but it makes it even worse that I was not even informed about receiving it, and never would have if it wasn't for the coincidental chat that just happened on teamspeak.
