Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:

My time as a moderator has been short but I feel I have gained lots of experience by handling many different situations and I have enjoyed my time as a moderator. I have struggled with some situations where I have required assistance from an admin+, if I get promoted to admin these situations would be much easier for me to handle and I would be able to staff to a higher standard.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around:

Within my time being staff I have encountered quite a few obstacles that required an admin+ to jail/ban a person for example. Becoming admin would be a helpful step up from moderator because of the new commands such as cloaking, noclip, god mode and most importantly the ban command used when players have many recent punishments and are breaking the sames rules over and over again.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:

If i was to train a moderator i would firstly go over in game commands, how to use them, and when to use them.

The tp commands(/tp /back /backspawn /bring /goto) can be used to move players for sits or if they were stuck.
/freeze can be used if you were trying to deal with a player running away from or rdming on the sit.
Mute globally and mute chat can be used to deal with people mic spamming, chat spamming or being disrespectful/racist or any other form of discrimination/harassment.
Finally /kick can be used to kick a player from the server, this can be helpful to give a player one final warning before issuing a harsher punishment such as a ban.

Then I would show them how to warn people with the /warn command and how they can view the players previous punishments with the F6 Menu, and how that should affect their decisions when giving out punishments.

After that I would walk them through the staff ethos and the correct attitude they should display while staffing.

I would then let them know about the weekly meetings that they are entitled to attend to.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that another admin banned them permanently for prop-spam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Firstly I would make sure to thank them and appreciate that they took the time and effort to appeal the ban in great detail, after that I would discuss what they did wrong and make sure they knew what they did was wrong and that they would agree to not repeat their actions again. If they seemed truly apologetic and recognised their mistakes, I would either shorten their ban or completely remove it. This player would be warned to not do it again and if they did there would be heavier consequences.

Why Me?

I have handled many F1's within my time as moderator and dealt with many rulebreakers, I believe I have done a good job as a staff member so far and will continue to do my best. Being admin will mean I can do a better job as a staff member and deal with more extreme rulebreaks, while taking some situations that I would previously have required assistance from admin+ into my own hands. I have a lot of experience from my staff positions on other servers, including a lead team position, therefore I believe I would be a good administrator on the ssrp servers.
