I feel as what you said is the same for alot of people, they come on the internet and want some "cool kid internet points" so they make these jokes all the time, like Poloo for example, although am I never going to compare you 2 as you are way more mature, however, I think making jokes about child abuse is genuinely extremely bad, and then some people also feel to defend the reported person, although it's clear he's done something wrong.

Although you seem genuinely sorry and surprised about your actions, it wouldn't surprise me if you get spoken to
