it's very interesting, the fact that you were a staff member and decided to rulebreak like that either means you were entirely incompetent as an actual staff member or you clearly did this maliciously; I'm leaning on the second, since this is a very well and widely known rule. In that case, the ban is perfectly justified.

it took me legit less than a month to get un banned, Ive done more as a staff member than you have and ive not been staff in over a year.....
