I was there and witnessed the entire situation. Snowi had begun stun-sticking Jack, yes, Jack did ask Snowi to stop, but not with /me (which isn't even a rule to my knowledge when it comes to asking some one to stop harassing you, except for when they are a hobo and are throwing bugbait at you or your base.)
I've been looking through the rules and "harassment" is not specifically a rule, instead I found these two rules that people simply classify as 'harassment' when punishing Users, the rules are stated and talked about below.:
1.0 General Conduct Rules
1.1 Discrimination - Discrimination in any form(racism, sexism, prejudicial remarks, xenophobia) is strictly prohibited on our servers.
Snowi was not discriminatory (racist, sexist xenophobic or using any prejudicial remarks towards Jack to my knowledge and therefore this rule is not valid to be used as a punishment for 'harassment' in this situation.)
1.2 Disrespect - We expect all users on the servers to conduct themselves respectfully and politely at all times.
Snowi to my knowledge also did not disrespect Jack in any other way than stun-sticking, which I would not consider disrespect.
So from these two rules that could be stated or fall under 'harassment' (harassment not specifically being a rule that I'm able to find) Snowi is not eligible to be warned for Harassment in this situation, (once again just from these two rules.) However it was brought to my attention // was reminded by Tamininja of the rule "Loopholing" which will now be talked about below.
Loopholing The rules are in place in order to ensure a fun and safe environment on the servers and as such are not here for anyone to scrutinize or attempt to loophole. The staff have the final word on the rules, if you feel like a staff member is abusing you may submit a report against them.
Depending the severity of the situation, I don't believe loopholing is enough on its own to justify a punishment. When some one is shouting racist remarks, but changing a few letters around, then because they LOOPHOLING the DISCRIMINATION rule, it is justified to punish them.
In another example, some one is running around weaponchecking players and doing (/me Weaponcheck, do not move or AOS/KOS)and only giving them a split second to react and then arresting them, that would be considered a LOOPHOLE for the rule:
"- You can randomly weapon check as long as you roleplay it (eg: "/me subjects to random weapon check. Don't move or you will be arrested.")"
But in this situation, all Snowi has really done is hit some one with a stunstick and was not even warned to stop by the opposing party (Jack) using /me. I understand the point of view on all sides, but for me, this simply isn't a big enough deal to have some one punished over where the entire situation started because some one didn't like Snowi b-hopping around the map. If my verdict is to be overruled, then so be it, but I thought I would at least voice my opinion and do what I think is correct in this situation.
To Jack and Tamaninja, my opinions of you two have not changed and I hope we can continue to remain friendly in the future! <3
I would like this situation to not be looked at with bias, as I feel both Snowi is "targeting" people and Staff Members are "targeting" Snowi, please stop the drama as it is completely unnecessary.
