Just to clarify there is nothing wrong with him leaving during a jail. So long as he waits out the remaining time of the punishment off the server. It sounds like you rejoined before your jail time was up and that led to you getting banned. I’ll confirm this with the logs but if that was the case your punishment is completely valid.

I'm perfectly aware of that, I've had accepted appeals regarding that. However, he was in jail and rejoined which is why I made that comment!
