Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command: if someone has alot of warns and they were banned recently and they are still doing things like mass rdm, racism, disrespect

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

I would say that i've read their appeal and I will change the perma ban to a 1 week ban because its their first ban. I would also tell them to not cheat or break any other rules on purpose. Also for good measure i would ask them if they have read the rules and if they have'nt I would advise them to do so.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
I should be promoted because I have over 238 hours on the server. I'm also unbiased when I make my reports and i don't hold grudges towards people. I have a bunch of free time so I could probably attend every meeting(especially since I stopped watching Dr Who which airs at the same time as the meeting starts). Since I know the rules and stuff I am able to help newer players who don't know what theyre doing. I am also on the server alot so I can help with reports quite alot. A big complaint I saw on my moderator application was my attitude not being very good, since then i've improved my attitude but im not completely devoid of any fun.

Extra Information: this is more of just a "trial run" to see how people think of my application considering that it's my first week of being a mod but I do think im ready to be an admin
