General Administrator Questions:
How I feel that my time as a moderator will contribute to me becoming an admin: During my time as a moderator, I have come across little problems, and any problem I did come across, I was able to solve it with ease.

A situation I encountered as a moderator that was an obstacle I had to work around: A user joined and began to mic spam by playing incredibly loud music. When I told them to stop, they did not listen, and instead, chose to persist in breaking the rules. He did it again, and then when I muted him, he left the game to avoid his punishment. Soon after, he joined back and did it again. It was a repetitive cycle as I had to mute him again every time. Once the map had changed and after his seventh leave, he had stopped mic spamming and had promised me that he wouldn’t do it again.

Player X appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. I check the ban list and find that I banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How I would handle the situation:

Hello, 

 I’ve checked the ban list and have realised that you were banned permanently 
for cheating, and that this is your first  ban. I have taken your ban appeal into consideration, and I have decided that your ban should be lowered to a
 month. 

Make sure that you understand the rules clearly. Keep in mind that if you cheat again, we will not hesitate to permanently ban you. Please understand that
 staff will not tolerate any form of cheating whatsoever.

Why I should be promoted: I have a great understanding of the rules, I am familiar with the commands and the way the system works. I am one of the most active Bunny Hop staff members. If I were to be promoted, I would be able to implement harsher punishments, which would help me punish rule breakers to more degrees appropriately. I would never act on impulse. I have previous experience staffing one of the largest Oceania gaming communities in Garry’s Mod. I definitely will not abuse my powers. I will not tolerate rule breakers, even if they could be a friend, since to me, making sure the rules are being followed is more important. I understand the punishments I would carry out if a player happened to break the rules. I am dedicated to fulfilling my duties.

Congratulations on being accepted into the staff team. Your duty as a staff member is to make sure the rules are being followed and that everybody is having fun. Today, I will be informing you about the commands that are available to you as a moderator. Make sure you have a read of the [url=https://zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/general-discussion/79335-zarp-staff-ethos]Staff Ethos[/url] and [url=https://zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/general-discussion/79335-zarp-staff-ethos]Staff Attitude[/url]. They will help you make better decisions when dealing with various things in-game. Remember to verbally warn the rulebreaker first, before proceeding to punishing them.

When executing a command, there are two ways to proceed.
1. Through the tab menu
2. In text chat

[b]Voice mute:[/b] This command is usually used to stop players from mic spamming. It stops the target from being able to talk in voice chat. Remember to add a time.

[b]Chat mute:[/b] This command is commonly used when a user is spamming, harassing or being racist in text chat. Remember to add a time.

[b]Slay:[/b] The slay command should be used if someone is exploiting even when you have told them to stop.

[b]Kick:[/b] The kick command should ONLY be used if after being punished several times, the user is still failing to comply.

[b]Strip weapons:[/b] This command is to be used if a player is harassing another user with a weapon. E.g. Shooting them constantly and not stopping.

Never abuse any commands by making sure you use them properly. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask a member of the staff team.[/spoiler]
