Glad we agree, the ban's fine then. You clearly knew what you were doing, there's a difference between disagreeing and not acknowledging your actions, and from this appeal and the in-game attitude, it was rather apparent you knew, just disagreed. I'm not here to discuss your problems, recommend a policy change on the forums, I'm required to enforce them.
