Weapons are quite a tricky thing to change, so I cannot comment on those, but just like you I disagree with the DNA scanner changes. I often find it incredibly dificult to accuratly determine who I am supposed to shoot at. I've also never heard anyone complain about the DNA scanner being overpowered in some way - I do not believe a nerf was needed here.
