Some stuff i have to say
Tbh i don't know why the headshot multiplier was decreased on a lot of the weapons that were already a 1 hit to the head, from what i heard the deagle now has some issues as it does not 1 hit people who have bought the jugg perk.
The silenced glock changed a lot but is in an OK spot. It had a massive boost to its fire rate to compensate for the damage loss, although i feel like it needed a small increase to fire rate while keeping its original damage, as of right now it cant kill people quickly which is what it is needed to do.
The main problem with the tec was not the damage, it was always inconsistent due to recoil and lowering the damage would only make it more annoying to use. As we wanted to still have a high fire rate, short time to kill weapon as a secondary the mag was reduced to 12 so it is no longer viable to run around and kill the entire server with it. If anything i do disagree with the recoil being decreased, it really didn't need it.
The M98B needed its damage reduced due to its interaction with the deadshot perk making it one hit players with a body shot, maybe the ammo decrease was a bit much but you can always buy another one.
Mossberg was toned down as it was winning most mid range fights, the changes were not that harsh and it plays mostly the same after it got a slight re buff.
For the terror tech the mechanic change is that it will now get bonus damage for headshots, from what Bezzy told me its based on the same mechanic for other shotguns which uses the range to calculate the headshot damage.
Alright thanks for clearifying some things up, though I still have to dissagree with the tec 9 problem, indreasing recoil and decresing damage would make it a more of short ranged gun and there also making it harder for people using the tec 9 to shoot somebody in the back and kill him in a second. The mossberg winning at midrange battles is a good sing because that shows balance, when it comes to balance in a game it doesn't mean that every gun should deal the same damage, it just means that different guns are good at differend situations. Mossberg = mid range. Tec-9 =short range, Contendor= long range.
The issue with that is that the current design behind the tec is that it should be a gun you use to delete a player quickly, the recoil should not have been lowered as now it makes it way too consistent when killing. The amount of players using the tec has already gone down, i would not like to see any further damage reduction to it. Tec should stay as it is now, a weapon i can use to quickly delete 1 player, in a good situation 2 and no more.
As for the mossberg winning mid range fights being good for balance, to some extent yes but it was deemed to be winning way too often when compared to a lot of other weapons and a lot of players had complained about it. Given that a few strong midrange weapons have also been toned down, like the uzi and sten, if the mossberg did not receive any nerf it would jump straight to being over powered.
