Today we are announcing the new Server Owners meeting which will replace an existing part of the Community Team meeting where we review each servers progress and performance. We have created this meeting as a result of feedback from both existing and previous server owners who wanted greater transparency between the individual server owners and the Community Team. This is an added responsibility for our server owners but it will also give us a chance on a weekly basis to update each other on changes, updates, issues and concerns about the running of each server.
New Meeting Time
Server owners are asked to attend on a weekly basis starting this Sunday:
Sunday at 6.00PM BST
Discussion
Server owners should be ready to answer questions on the following topics, and ask us for help too in areas in which they may require assistance:
- Review of the servers gametracker ranks and performance
- Plans for upcoming updates
- Review of short term and long term plans
- Team discussion about the PointShop
- Help with trouble managing servers (e.g. uploading maps, basic LUA edits and bug fixes)
- Opportunity to raise concerns about the staff teams, CM team or other issues
Attendance
Server owners and developers are permitted to attend this meeting. Owners and the Community Team should always aim to attend this meeting.
