I always feel like "Interacting with the lead team" is one of those arguments where I always wonder why that is a thing in the staff team nowadays. What we need are good, capable lead team members that we know are approachable and that we know we can speak to. You should be able to know and understand their attitude from in-game and during the meetings, and you will be able to speak to them on the Teamspeak if they're active there. Ella is active on the Teamspeak and I know he is easily approachable and good to talk to, so I don't understand the issue of "Oh no, he doesn't have to be on the Teamspeak often, he just needs to speak to us more." Like, that's more of a personal bias kinda thing than anything.
I mean, would wou want someone in your lead team when he rarely/never interacts with your fellow lead team members including yourself? I definitly wouldnt.
If I know that they're on the Teamspeak often and if I know what their attitude/behaviour is like then yes, yes I would much rather have someone on the Lead Team regardless of if I speak to them often or not.

I'd also like to add that, when on the Teamspeak, I'd like to see them in channels with various staff members. I just don't necessarily need them to be Lead Team, that's all.

Still communication and interaction between lead team members is key. From what i've experienced as Super Admin, communicating between other lead teams and talking to them on a daily basis is what kept me on drive and if he rarely/never interacts with other lead team members then it would be hard for other LT's to work with him, that's why interacting with LT's is a key factor. In addition, how are you suposed to work with someone when you barely communicate with him?
As long as someone does their job well you should be able to pick up from a glance whether or not you'd communicate with them properly. You could even try it out by pulling them into a spacer and "interviewing" them by having a casual chat about the server. You really do not need them to hang around in your own spacers all the bloody time, there are a lot of other ways to find out whether or not someone is capable of being a lead team member.
