Technically speaking according to the definition he was still at gunpoint regardless of being behind a wall hence the definition example explicitly stating that the individual does not have to be in direct view of the person holding them at gunpoint for them to be considered to be "at gunpoint"

Spoke to Clarky over Steam. Denis is right about the definiton for one, but there's also the fact that as a policeman an attempt to arrest should be made before shooting. So even if you weren't considered "under gunpoint" you still broke a rule, Pug.

yes but the warning itself is excessive due to the nature of the situation, and as such I'll be suggesting a rule rewording, because that rule is worded terribly and essentially allows no sort of escape, even if you'd be risking your life less by just ducking behind cover or fleeing, in certain scenarios.
