Applying straight after, after getting weeks of feedback on multiple applications with no downtime between applications to work on the feedback and suggestions given and to show improvement from the feedback you just got from the previous applications shows the feedback gets disregarded anyway when it's still the same feedback and no improvement from the previous week. No one is going to vote for someone like that for such a high position.
