Even if they are staff, another staff member of the same rank can easily change their name to the same as that of the staff member being reported. I could easily set my name to Raeker on my alt, give it admin, set the avatar as yours and then start banning everyone from there and without proof of SteamID, a report could be accepted against you for no reason.
SteamID proof is important, and I'm still unsure of why it isn't on the staff report abuse template.

This is indeed something that crossed my mind as well, but in such a situation the logs can be checked when the actual staff member eventually denies all accusations.

Then why not add proof of steam id as a part of the report abuse template :thinking:
