Evidence of SteamID should be from within the game to be considered valid. I don't fully blame him, Cranky, as when I joined TTT (and so a while after Raa joined) this was not actually known and reports were accepted based on out-of-game SteamID proof that was later confirmed to be invalid by EMP.
Hence why evidence of SteamID is now a necessity in template + when making a report abuse (in the midst of someone could be framing this user of prop surfing).
It was always a part of the template it's just that the TTT staff weren't aware of what it meant as we weren't trained to. I managed to make a change into the staff team that way by ensuring everyone was aware of how it should actually be interpreted but before then everyone (including myself for a certain period of time) believed that any picture linking the SteamID to any Steam profile with a similair name (such as steamid lookup websites) was considered "valid" evidence.
Because of the fact that I pushed for this to be interpreted this way into the staff team myself, people that weren't trained after that are most probably not aware, especially not the ones that never did any warn/ban requests on the forums, such as Raa.
