The thing is, you keep talking about " big update ". But let's face it, the last " big update " in date before the christmas one was the easter/iridium from what peoples say ( Which was in april I think? ). In beetwen we had the summer week which was basicaly just a bunch of features that already existed. Sort of a " boosted cash production " week where you had x2 craftable, x3 printers, the rigged item'o'matic ect.
Then we got that lasting for 3 months with chute continuously teasing " Yeah it's right around the corner! " all for nothing.
We got a halloween update with a completly useless gem slot machine, some more " boosted features " like unique craftable, 3 meme suits ( One which completly broke the economy with x5 printers lol ). The only good thing being the map in that update.
After that we got the black friday update which had new items but really were old items given a yellow color with boosted stats.
And lastly we now get the christmas update. A new case finally after waiting so long. But that was all ruined by the fact that there was 2 fillers skin items, another meme printer and only the suit and predator being actual good interesting items. But no balance to already existing features ( Such as the handcannon being too op, the maps still being shit to base, the gauss rifle still being useless lol ).
Now Im no expert at coding so I don't know who's behind all of this. But Im pretty sure by now they know how to make a new skin for a printer, the white tuxedo / red dress skins were probably taken from god knows where leaving us with only 3 new items really.
Considering how much money they probably make with all the booster packs beind sold ( Myself I bought for rp cash for 100-120$ worth in the past 2-3 weeks. And Im not even considered one of the big booster packs buyer ) im pretty sure they could " hire " developpers to really make zarp a bigger thing. But right now it feels like they are just too lazy to do so and just milking whatever they can by sustaining the community with a glimmer of hope by releasing a few bread crumbs here and there.
