It's a culture difference and a reliable source is not going to change your opinion. Certain American users have complained about the use of the word in the past and we respect that. Where I come from it's a regular word however I can at least understand that the word has a different meaning somewhere else. Maybe you should respect that too?

How am I to be tolerant to something I was not explained of but just punished for?
