Before I state what I see issues with I want to say that I voted for a warning and not a demotion,
But I do understand where the team is coming from.
Whenever you log in you join one channel and you sit there all day long and don't move around.
While I see other staff members randomly joining public channels to make sure that everything is going alright.
Of course I can understand if you are playing a game you are not gonna join random channels.
You state you don't have time to do your job due to work.
when I had work I came online every day to do my job for around 3 hours and then go to bed, I would sit on ssrp and Teamspeak and the forums trying to do as much as possible.
If you set your priorities to something else after you come home from work is fine but then don't blame it on I had work. Because everything is based on priorities yours just lie elsewhere.
And I sure hope your priorities lie with Real life and getting your studies going.
I do sometimes move around, however, this is mostly after a ton of people were to join the channels I'm in,
I prefer being in uncrowded/isolated channels because it's easier for me to do stuff in them and because I like talking to those who are there with me. It's not that I can't do it I just prefer not to.
And if a real issue was to surface, I'd easily be able to talk to the person and sort it out if I was to be made aware of them.
And sure, you might've done it the way you did it, however, I do things differently. if I was to "do my job" for 3 hours, I would not even have any time left to spend with other people outside of the PC, (excl the people I work with) And I'd like to be at least a bit social.

I did attempt to do that one appeal I had the time for, and I did help with that report.. so in a sense I did everything I was able to within the time I was at home, and sadly enough it's not my fault that that's not much to do at all.
Sure, I'm using "work" as an "excuse" here but honestly that's not true,
As you know this work ain't just your average job, it's for school mainly. I'm being rated 9/4 and the company I work at has a lot of people who work there for school. You used "you have no responsibilities" but that's not true, I might be insured for any damage I cause but I still am one of just a handful of people who have to repair, build and demolish PC's on a daily basis. Work is a lot of work, and they won't just approve me sitting on the forums/ts all day.
If I was to sit on my phone for like 5 minutes at most I'd instantly get a response to go back to work, and sitting on your phone 24/7 will NOT give a good impression for the ones who have to rate me in the end, AKA decide whether or not I'll pass or fail school for that year.
I don't have a pc of my own there either so I won't even be able to access TS at all, nor access the forums easily either, because if they see it obviously my end-results will plummet straight down.
Work simply takes up more than 50% of my 24 hour day and sitting there till deep in the night is simply not going to work out at all. If anything I'll get more tired at my job and that too will result in the grades lowering.

Like you stated yourself you don't have time for the job or the role due to work. Considering you accept this and do nothing for the teamspeak HA rank I am really not sure why you're spending your time to appeal this.
It's not like I don't have time to do stuff at all, I'm willing to do anything I can for TS when I'm at home, I simply cannot do it at work at all, as I explained clear as glass in the wall of text above.
Whenever I'm at home I did keep an eye out on any appeals, and I would not mind doing them at all. I'm making this appeal because I am willing to help out in any way I can during any available time I have. It's NOT like I have the mindset of "Ah I'm home now, only got a bit of time let's abandon zarp" if that was to be the case I'd have resigned.
And I'm making the appeal because I think it's unacceptable for someone to get demoted if there was legit nothing to do, and despite attempts to do their job still get demoted for not doing it.
You can see it as an admin on SSRP with about 2 hours a day available to play, who couldn't get 20 F1's because there were none made.
You wouldn't demote them if they were to explain it, would you? And if you would... well fuck that's cold.
Since both of you are getting at the same point
I'll state it clearly once more,
I did want to do my duties, and I did want to help out. It's simply when I had the time to do those things there was Near-To-NOTHING to do. And what was there to do I attempted on doing.
And from this point, I'd best be quoting myself because that's all I'm doing, repeat, repeat. And repeat.
