I believe the main reason you ban evaded was to see what was new in the update as you were asking me things about it and I wasn't doing a very good job of describing it, my awful descriptions aside you had no reason to ban evade even if you were going to be unbanned later that day you should have just waited for that moment as you wouldn't have missed out on much as the update had only just started. I don't believe that you really feel sorry about what you did and you deserved an extension to your ban at the time. I believe you should get an extra 5-7 days ban.
