I currently speak fluent English and am learning GCSE Spanish.
Personality:
I have a very open personality, but am mature and fun together I think. When talking to someone I will look for what they like to play and other things so I can get to know them better. I like to get to know people so I feel a bigger part of the community. I am mature so I don't make jokes in a serious matter, I will have fun where possible though!
Leadership:
In real life I am a Lance Corporal at my school CCF unit, in the RAF section. This means I get involved listening to what people have to say and following commands, we also do tasks in leading positions so I know how to lead people effectively and keep people under control. This also improves my personality and thinking abilities when doing tasks.
Trust:
I have had many staff positions outside of Zarp, these ranks have been: 2x Mod, 2x Admin, 2x Super Administrator and 1x Server Manager. All these positions have contributed in getting me to where I am now, without these I wouldn't have enough experience of how to be a good staff member. I have also been SSRP Admin, but resigned recently. This proves people trust me with staff ranks and think I am good enough for these roles, hence why I am applying for HA here!
Activity:
I am on nearlly everyday. This shows I am able to keep an eye on the server and other staff members a lot. This will help improve the quality of the server, because I can report bugs to Xnator if I see any and also make sure all the Users are happy with how the staff are doing. I also am on TS and the forums a lot to keep helping wherever possible.
Dedication:
I have been an SA for around 7 weeks, one I admit was a holiday but I still kept a slight watch on the forums for anything important. This shows I am trying to get experience at my rank and improve throughout.
Situations faced as a Super Administrator:
I have faced multiple situations as a Super Admin. Here are a few:
1. Abusive staff, I have seen staff abusing powers and have had to deal with them quickly and effectively. I approach a staff member calmly and am looking to help rather than issue warning or if too serious a demotion.
2. Inactive staff, in meetings I am helping contribute by bringing up or building on points made about inactive staff. I am looking for those who don't reach the minimum playtime per week, and seeing if they can improve it for next week. If they don't I will give an official warning to tell them they need to start pulling it together or eventually it will lead to a demotion.
3. Hackers, I have seen a few that have hacked and I always stick to the policy. First pming them with evidence of sorts (anticheat) telling them to not use their hacks and that I will kick them as a warning for them to stop using them, then if not stopped a ban will be issued to get the message across more.
What I plan to do as a Head Administrator:
Well I first of all plan to keep an active eye on the staff team. I message people when they are inactive and get them to get their activity up which then attracts more players and keeps staff active.
I think I have enough experience to say that I know what I am doing, I understand how to train people and have created a custom guide for when I train Moderators or Admins so they can make sure they know all the commands and understand the forums etc.
I plan to lead by example by helping people wherever possible, whether in meetings, on the server, over steam, on TeamSpeak in general I am always here to help and plan to stay as helpful as possible.
