Moderator application
Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match (RDM) Killing another player without a roleplay valid reason. For example me spawming then walking to another player and killing them without warning or reason.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule (NLR) The new life rule prohibits players from returning to or interacting with the place of their death untill 3 minuits have passed. For example me being killed by the mine and then returning to continue mining.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is the act of talking about or discussing in character infomation whilst out of character or vice versa. For example me shouting that my base is being raided useing //ooc.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

1. Teleport to player X and bring them to a roof away from any rp.
2. Ask player X "what happend" whilst checking the logs for any relevent infomation.
3. Noticing that Y killed X i would bring player Y to me and ask him why he killed X.
4. If player Y admits to killing X without a reason then i would warn Y for RDM, else i would ask X for proof of RDM through screenshots or video. If no evendence is presented then i would have to drop the F1. However if valid evedence is presented i would warn Y for RDM

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

1. Teleport to player X and bring them to a roof away from any rp.
2. Ask player X "what happend" whilst checking the logs for any relevent infomation.
3. Checking the logs and noticing that the two kills are close together i would bring Y to me and ask why he broke the NLR
4. If Y admits to revisiting the place of his death i would warn him for the log proven NLR

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

1. Warn X for metagaming
2. Through a /pm i would type a small explanation as to why i warned him and what metagaming is as most players do not understand the rule.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
Firstly i would like to say that i have prevously worked as a zarp staff member. About 4-5 months ago i was an admin with my old name Geoffrey Smithers. I changed my name a bout a month ago to HotPocket simply because i liked the name. Don't panic i wasn't demoted for any abuse. I was removed because i no longer wanted to administrate and so i explained this to the ex super christopher and he removed me from the team. below i will list a few reasons as to why I beleave that i would make a good staff member.

• I have had a lot of prevous experence with the server and know how to handle myself during f1 situations.
• I have a calm nature and never find myself annoyed or upset. Hopefully useing this trate i can calm other players down and compleat f1's quickly and efficantly.
• My sleeping paturn is shit at the moment and so i am able to be online at both peak times and times with less than 20 players meaning that zarp has better admin coverage arround the clock.
• I find myself role playing as the less popular charicter such as the preist or gun dealer because of this i understand how fustrating it is to have spent time building somthing for hours only to have it destroyed by other players for no reason other than greafing. I would like to help prevent this.

Admin application
After speaking to Mogadonskoda i was allowed to apply straight for the admin position so here is my admin application.

Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
So back when i was a moderator i found that the best thing about being a moderator is that you are more in the action. As mod you can't just noclip about the place like nobody's business you have to walk from place to place with the goto or bring command being a small help in your travels. it is because of this that you learn not to act as if you are a god among men, insted you learn that you are here to help others. If you see a man rdmed in the street whilst walking about you can help and make that players experence a lot more enjoyable. i'm sure that at least 60% of broken rules go un noticed or un reported and so i feel that it is important that people learn the importance of simply walking around helping other players.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
Its been a long time since i was a moderator it must have been about a year ago now. So sorry but i cant really recall anthing that really stood out. i guess i had it wasy as a mod with no life scaring incedence.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello there new moderator!

First of all welcome to the zarp staff team! We hope that you enjoy your time on the server even more now knowing that whenever you try to RP off duty you will be harased by people shouting and complaining that you don't compleat f1s or help their freind that have been RDMed and needs urgent help !

Firstly i would like to say that the situation i described above will happen and your responce can eather make or break player experence with ZARP. Everything you do has an impact on the reputation of the staff team.

One of the most important unspoaken rules of being a member of staff is that you are here to help the community above all else. You have chosen to put yourself out there to help others. If anything like the situation described above happens you should drop whatever you are doing and go to help the player in need. If you dont like that idea then moderating is not for you. You have chosen to become a moderator to help the server grow and become a more enjoyable experence for everyone NOT because you get to kick anyone that rades your freinds base.

I hope that through this post you get a better understanding of why you are here and what your roal on the server is. Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hi thanks for posting. I have looked at your appeal is clear to see that you have put a lot of effort into writing this. You sound appologeting and sincear and so i am confidant that you have learnt the error of your ways. It is because of this that i am willing to unban you 3 days from now. Thank you and i hope that you will now add to the ZARP community insted of trying to take from it.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
About 3 months ago i was a very active Admin on for zarp dark RP. unforutnatly collage work caught up with me and at the time i had some exams coming up, i found that i could not put the hours needed to admin into zarp and so i had to step down as administratior. Now i am back 3 months later and im ready to start contributing to again to Zarp community. i have had a lot of experence with this server and i understand the type of experence people expect to be getting from It. I am applying because i wish to help to make Zarp a fun enjoyable server that people are going to want to sink a many hours into like i have found myself doing. I have been in the server quite consistantly over the past few weeks and im sure that i have gotten used to all of the changes from a couple of months ago. I hope that i will be accepted and continue to contribute and make Zarp a better gaming community.

Btw that's not really how you write that facebook post, you need to describe all the commands that are given to you and such.

I've remove the thing about vip from my fb post but im going to keep it as is. I think that it would be unnessacery to list commands through a facebook post. I sent them a link to a post that lists commands on the forums. My message is more about giveing the new mod an idea about the mindeset needed.

Okay so I warned you for RDM just a while ago, I saw what I saw. However by your response I know you did not purposely do it, I would say this was an unintentional kill so do not count the RDM warn by me in his recent warning. He is a nice guy and was a good staff member before.

Apart from being a nice person you were a great staff member when you were and always attending meetings
and doing f1s I am +Supporting this for the following reasons.
