Reason - falsely warned me and lied about evidence
Story - i saw someone pull out a illegal weapon so i chased and arrested them. as they pulled out the weapon sloth teleported to this player, facing them as they had the weapon held. after i arrested the player, sloth froze me on the road and warned me for "rda" for the person i arrested and claimed to have seen the whole thing.
Proof - steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1434784000 - confirms that the player i arrested was his reason for warning me and not swinging an unarrest stick at emmitt even though that is still a completely false reason.

in the video i say over voice that he had a weapon and he replies saying "no he didnt"

From the time that the f1 was made and while I was watching I didn’t see a single illegal weapon and while I watched you chase emmitt on my end the baton was red

we can clearly see you just teleported in you were facing him with a weapon out in his face..

he teleports to him as he still has the illegal gun out in front of his face. even if he didnt see the gun some how, he clearly still didnt see anything before teleporting in which gives him 0 proof of me "rdaing".

Yes, I agree, he could've handled the situation differently, but I don't think that he deserves to get punished for this.

Are you actually that butthurt to the extent to where you felt it was necessary to report him? He just got accepted and was probably trained by suken and skeleton. It was a simple mistake and he didn't see the weapon, not to mention baxter had just been brought back into rp without warning. You could of easily just showed em the proof and got it removed, but you felt the need to write for like 10 minutes defending this petty report even though you will get the same response, he'll be more careful next time. Get a fucking life dude its pathetic.

Still, like the warned user said earlier, when you do not know the full context or don't have the sufficient elements to make a decision, you do not make one and warn a user. I thought it was one of the first things you teach when you train a new moderator.

A talk to would still be great, as well as removing the warn.

Everyone makes mistakes. it's our first day as mods and we are just trying to do what we can to keep the server clean. yeah maybe we screw up on a few calls and make poor judgement but for a brand new mod there is no need for a demote request, a talking to maybe to make sure they fully understand everything and handle it correctly. also if you would have provided proof to him in game he could have removed the warning and apologized to you.

i just want my warn removed and for someone to talk to sloth.

i made a demote request because i know that the outcome is usually them getting talked to so they can learn. however, i dont know about any previous mishandlings of his or wrong doings as a mod so if a demotion is necessary then so be it.
i dont think thats harsh or petty at all. i dont exactly have any control over how it goes im just presenting the evidence.

if i presented the evidence to him in game instead of making a post, i think its pretty obvious that he wouldnt be willing to remove it based on his responses here and id have to make a significant effort to try and teach him why it was wrong which is probably a lot more appropriate for higher staff to deal with.

apologies to sloth if i may have sounded rude in the first few posts i was just frustrated.

I will speak to Sloth about this. Obviously you shouldn't have been warned. The fact you received a fine only emphasises the fact that you had a reason to arrest the user. Your punishment will be removed and I'll have a discussion with the moderator to ensure something like this does not happen again.
