TOPIC: I don’t understand the TS recording rule

It says that you can’t record anything in TS and it’s strictly not allowed but then how are you supposed to gather evidence for reports? I see reports where the player has recorded for the evidence and the report gets accepted, so is it allowed or not?

From my understanding you can record to catch a rule break but not record for memes.

You should report to a TS HA and give them the video but meh it’s kinda a stupid rule

Something happened with morgan a while ago not entirely sure, I think he recorded for "his protection' but couldnt release it without everyone in the spacers permission. They didn't just put the rule there randomly, they did it cause its illegal. (I probably got half this wrong so correct me if im wrong on something)

It is legal to record for personal use but if you upload it without their permission then its illegal. There is a way to make recording allowed, and that is when a new player joins that they get poked by a bot which says: “By joining channels/spacer you are giving consent for your voice to be used in a video”

It's fine for you to record the TS in order to report someone but the recording should be sent in private and not played on the TS or shared out, I got told it was illegal or something?? Anyways just stick with my word and you should be good.

You can record however if every member in the channel does give permission.
