Like i said: It can still be open for suggestion, as it had 9 pages it's obviously an interesting topic to discuss - Yet you lock it for no objective reason.
The reason why it was locked was because there is a new thread where you can discuss the matter. That's all - it's not like you're being shut down here. If you want to discuss the removal of the suits you can do so on Clarky's thread, as it is a better place to do so.
Nonononono. I found it alot more controversial on Onions topic, where as it had alot of more input given in. Clarkys post only contains 2 pages with almost nobody caring to post their opinions again.
Yet you literally can. Nobody is shutting you down here - feel free to discuss it on his thread if you'd so like. I don't understand the issue here. You complain about you being unable to discuss it, yet there is literally a thread where you can discuss the issue right now. Clarky's post is a much better place for it because he allows for a discussion with more nuance, whilst Onion was a "You're on this side or on the other" kind of post, which harms a constructive conversation.
I don't really agree with that. Either way it would be alot better to have one post going to, rather than constantly seeing new posts. If it's one post it could even be sticked as it's a popular topic. And since Onion has 9 posts it's about 5 times as popular as Clarkys post.
I understand your complaint that you'd much rather have only a single place to discuss the matter. All this comes down to is poor communication; if this was properly discussed between the Lead Team and CM team beforehand there *would* have only been a single post that would have had better wording and allowed for a better, healthier discussion than the one Onion brought to the table.
In the end, however, that is only something that we can look at in retrospect and learn from it. For now we have Clarky's post to discuss the matter and it will stay that way. I apologise for any inconvenience caused because yes, you're right. It would be a lot better if there was only a single place to discuss the issue at hand.
We're sticking with Clarky's for now because his post is better written and more representative of the issue at hand.
