I feel my time as a mod will help me become an admin as I am ready to help when it is needed and do as many F1s I can when I am online. My time as a mod has shown me that people are different and to be as clear as possible. I really like helping people and solving disagreements. I have found that most people are kind hearted and will try help you in an F1 as much as possible. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). I had to deal with a mass RDMer who came on about 7:00 AM GMT and started CDMing and RDMing at spawn. I froze him and talked though what he had done wrong. When he did not reply I asked him to read the motd and explain what he had broken and why. He still did not reply so I told him that he was going to be kicked for RDM and CDM. I kicked him and he came back an hour later. He continued to CDM and RDM. I notified the few staff which were online and an Admin came and jailed him. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Being a moderator is tough work, You need to stay calm and not get angry with players. Try to be as clear as possible and if they do not understand ask them to read the !motd. This can help them understand and realize their mistakes. You will find people are very forgiving and a simple apology can solve everything. Sometimes you can find a really demanding player, just stay calm and try to uncover their story. Don't take anything they say to heart. The logs are your best friend now, they help you uncover a lot of topics Eg. NOR and RDM. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Remember always that you are here to help and not discourage and insult. My motto is: Attitude is key. Respect your co-workers, they are all awesome people ready to help you any time you need it! Here are some of the key commands you need: /tp: This teleports the selected player to the place you are looking at. /goto: This allows you to goto a player to handle F1s. /freeze: This freezes players. I suggest you only freeze a player if they are RDMing /back: Sends the player back to either spawn or their previous location /slay: It kills a player with the option of different effects. Eg. Rocket, Silent, Explode ____________ Here are some of the tools used by Staff that you need to know about: Tab: Your tab menu is your guide round the commands list. Select a player and use the commands to preform actions. Keypad Checker: Checks if entitys are linked to keypads. The minimum open time is 4.3 seconds Weapon Checker: This is used to scan for weapons on a player. Can be used to check a citizen for a big gun. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? "Hello, Thank you for taking the time to create this appeal. Your actions were not acceptable at the time but we feel a permanent ban was unnecessary and it will be reduced to 1 week. Accepted" Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). I should be promoted because I am a hard working mod who enjoys my roll and I love to help people. The job can be stressful at times but Its enjoyable to work though the pile of F1s we get in the evening. I hardly role play anymore as I am on the forms and servers helping people out! I love this community, one of the best I have found yet! Being a member of this amazing community is great with many friendly people to help and guide you. The best part of my day is hopping on the server and helping people, It brings a great feeling of fulfillment and joy. Zarp has let me meet tons of new people from around the world and they help me to improve and motivate me. Thanks a bunch for reading this! It means a lot! |

I will be Neutral I wish you good luck. I checked my links and they work fine. I am not sure what that was about :/ Personally I think 60 hours is a lot but I think it is a matter of opinion. I will add some colors for you ![]() Thanks for the feedback Nexize! This really will help me improve and work on my application. -wallcop100 |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. ![]() |
