Nutzu's RE-application
Permission to reapply given by Legendary Soldier.-=Details=-. RP Name - Nutzu3650XL Link to Steam Profile - snip SteamID - STEAM_0:0:48562733 Current Gametracker Profiles Server 1 - www.gametracker.com/player/Nutzu3650XL%E...arpgaming.com:27015/ Server 2 - www.gametracker.com/player/Nutzu3650XL%E...arpgaming.com:27025/ Server 3 - www.gametracker.com/player/Nutzu3650XL%E...arpgaming.com:27015/ Age - 17 Estimated Server Time - +300hours Languages I speak - Fluent English, Romanian and French .-=Promotion Related=-. Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. I consider I have done my best to catch rulebreakers and overall keep the community as clean as I could. I have been active on the forums, evaluated many applications and tried to be helpful. I have made myself familiar with the F1 menu, basic commands, common situations and how to handle them. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). A situation which seemed harder for me to work around as a moderator, was when the accused player in an F1 was deliberatly unresponsive, not willing to comunicate, or the player making the F1 doesn't speak english or speaks it bad, making it harder for me to understand. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Greetings future moderator! I am here to help you with your moderator commands, and give you the full grasp of them! Use them wisely! First, we have the F1 Menu. Here you can see the current F1s, their priority and who is handling them. The number to the left of the request, is the priority (time since the F1 has been made, in seconds). It is advised to handle the F1s with higher priority numbers first, then the others. To the right of the request you can see who is handling it. You can right click it to handle it, and view a list of possible actions. In the warnings tab, you can see warns that have been given since you logged in, who recieved them and who gave them. In the Logs tab you can view kills, job switches, connects, disconnects, and hit placements. You should not rely only on logs, but you should always use them. The F6 menu is used to check punishments on a certain player online, selecting it from the left list, or the punishments of every other player (not necessary online) by pasting his STEAMID in the text box to the right, The moderator commands: /tp [name/steamid] - can be used without inputs to teleport to your cursor. if you input a player's name/steamid, it will tp that player to the location of your cursor /goto [name/steamid] - can be used to instantly teleport to a certain player. Be aware it sometimes might be buggy. /back [name/steamid] - can be used to teleport a player to its initial location, before you used /tp /bring [name/steamid] - can be used to instantly bring a player to you. For F1 situations, it is advised to aim next to you and do /tp because once you do /back the player will not be teleported back. Use this to instantly bring a rulebreaker in sight next to you /freeze [name/steamid] [time in seconds] - can be used to freeze a certain player, making him unable to perform actions and unable to be killed. This is useful to quickly stop a rulebreaker, a player running away from an f1, or to punish players. You can set the time in seconds by typingit after the /freeze command.Example: /Freeze John 60 /unfreeze - can be used to thaw (unfreeze) a player which has been previously frozen. /warn [name/steamid] [reason] - This is used to warn a certain player if his behaviour has broken rules. /kick [name/steamid] [reason] - This is used to kick a player from the server. It is advised to use it in case of propspammers/DoSers/etc. when there are no higher staff present. /slay [name/steamid] - This command is used to kill a certain players. It can be used in situations when, for example, a citizen has a big gun and refuses to holster it. The tab menu You can press tab to the list of players. some players will have a small red "!" symbol. You can click on that symbol to handle the F1 request and get 5 seconds of noclip. Do not abuse this feature. You can Click a player's name to see a multitude of buttons, which will allow you to take action pretty much the same as you would with the moderator commands. You can see the player's SteamID, Health, Steamname, and all necessary information, in case you need to punish a player who has changed his name. This is all the necessary information you need to become a good moderator. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? "Hello there player X! Thank you for taking your time to make an unban appeal. I have checked your appeal, and seeing that this is your first ban, I will reduce the current ban to 1 week. This will be more than enough to reflect on you actions, and hopefully do not repeat the same mistakes again. Please follow the rules and aknowledge them. You can do so ingame by typing /motd. Please keep in mind that at any given moment you could be spectated by a staff member, and if you are caught doing severe rulebreaks again, you will be permanently banned again, and with less chances of your appeal being accepted. Have a nice day, and hopefully see you ingame soon! .-=Accepted=-." Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words) Soo, some of you might have seen it coming, some of you might not, but here it is, I'm reapplying. I know my attitude when I first came back a few weeks ago wasn't the best, but I've taken a bit to change it up since I honestly enjoy SSRP again now, and would like to help clean it up like I used to a while back. As of today, my last recent warning should have expired and my activity should be good enough. Most of you probably know me by now, and to those who don't, I used to be an SSRP admin, and loved doing what I was doing. I think I used to do my job very well, and throughout my time as staff I have managed to not get a single report abuse post on me. I'm generally a friendly person and I do fuck around a lot, but I used to take my admin duty seriously. The main part of the application is repasted from my first admin app, since I think it's still very good and don't see the point in making one. Thanks for reading. |
