Languages I speak Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.[/b] Becoming an admin would help me resolve multiple issues faster than normal, Normally if someone is mass rdming I would have to go into the tab menu, Find their name quick enough and freeze them before they deal enough damage. Right their a player could lose many items or just become annoyed from this. While becoming staff I have dealt with multiple rule breakers ranging from minges to mass rdmers, I always contact an admin when something needs handling Eg : Ban. And sometimes like today when I done around 20 odd f1's I needed to ban a few people and I could not. This resulted it them only being banned for a hour once exceeding the warn limit. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). So I only logged in to find a few mass rdmers, This led me to teleport to a location, Freeze both of them. Tp them and this took a little while. Whilst if you were an admin you could have dealt with this in the matter of 30 seconds. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Hello, Welcome to the staff team! Today I (GoGoJack) Will be showing you and teaching you how to use your powers to your full potential as moderator! So, First off lets get you started with the basic commands. /tp ( Teleports you to a location what you are looking at ) /kick ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( Reason ) ( Kicks the player with the reason ) /warn ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( Reason ) ( Warns the player ) /goto ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( Teleports you to the player ) /bring ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( Brings the player ) /slay ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( 4 Options to slay the player ) /freeze ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( Freezes the player for either 10 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 Min, 5Min, 10Min options ) /voicemute ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( either 10 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 Min, 5Min, 10Min options )( Voice mutes the player. /chatmute ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( either 10 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 Min, 5Min, 10Min options ) ( Chat mutes the player ) /backspawn ( Steam Id / In game name ) ( Returns the player to spawn, If you leave it blank it will return you to spawn ) Tab Menu Unban Job ( Player ) ( Job ) ( Unbans the player from a job ) Most of these commands have a back command eg. /unfreeze ( Steam Id / In game name ) /unvoicemute ( Steam Id / In game name ) /unchatmute ( Steam Id / In game name ) /back ( Steam Id / Ingame name or /back for yourself ) ( Returns the player or yourself to the last location ) So that will be the commands you will be using the most while being an [Moderator] I advise you to set these binds. Bind t "Say /tp" Okay now lets move into the f6 Menu, Here you can see peoples punishments over their time at zarp gaming! First you select the play and you can their warnings meaning if they have broken a rule multiple times over the week or have broken multiple rules over the past two weeks you can get an admin to hand out a fair punishment for them! This is probably the simplest menu while being staff, You can also copy the warning fully to show them when they were warned and who they were warned by so if they ever query their warning. Okay now the hardest ( Not hard but the hardest ) Part of knowing the f1 system. Here you can view active f1's, Logs, NLR And recent warnings. First off lets go to the Active f1's Here you have options to do with it. Claim the f1 for yourself. Remove the f1 ( If it's spam or not needed ) Abort the f1 ( If you had to go while doing it so another staff can deal with it ) Goto ( Goes to the f1 maker ) Bring ( Brings the f1 maker ) With these options you can deal with the f1's, If their are multiple f1's you have to deal with them in order not skipping them for your friends ect, This is would not be allowed. Okay now the Logging system. With the logging system it shows everything from Arrests to Kills these are the things to pick out things like ass rdaers, mass rdmers. Even from times when a guy needs to know who he was killed by for a sit. This is essential for dealing with anything throughout your stay on Zarp Gaming. You can copy out the full log to your clip board by pressing "Copy full log" So you can see what weapon he was killed by what district he was killed in and who killed him. This is the most useful thing in my eyes. All of this will occur in the past 10 mins, Remember to read through the staff Ethos before getting onto doing your first few f1's because we don't want you being demoted or warned do we  If you have any questions add me on steam! steamcommunity.com/id/gogojack9/ Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Hello Player X, I have checked the bans and you have been banned for propspam, I am willing to give you another shot if you promise not to do these kind stunts again. You seem like you have put a lot of effort into this application and I forgive you for your actions, If you get caught doing something like this again you will be banned with no chance of being unbanned again. I will letting an admin or above take over this due to me not being allowed to put the final verdict on a unban appeal on the player I banned, Goodluck. I will be reducing your ban to one hour, Please read through the Rules before coming back so you have a grasp of what to know before roleplaying again. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words) I think I should be promoted today because I could deal with things a lot more suitably without asking admins from time to time. It would make it so I could be more independent and do things for myself when I would need to making life easier for everything. With the permissions like Vanish, God, Remover and no-clip being a staff member will be a lot easier since [Moderator] Perms are at minimum meaning a lot of times you cannot deal with things like Selling doors, Banning, Removing Prop Block and Illegal parts of bases ect. This would also mean if I became an admin I would be able to help out [Moderators] At times so they do not feel like they cannot do anything. I feel like I have met and became friends with a lot more of the staff team. Through my first two weeks I have not really had any complaints about how I deal with things ( I had one but their was no evidence against them ) So yeah. |
