TOPIC: I just got fucking scammed for my entire inventory

This is basically social engineering using the sociological principles that we all have (Some more than others) in order to gain your trust and swindle you . This is used a lot to get out into people's brains and lead them into a false sense of trust and a false sense of security when they are just relying on past experience to trust someone and this can be good or bad, by doing this you can increment the value of the items bit by bit gaining more trust each time he does it. In the end , it is your fault and you can't blame anyone else but yourself , you can not say it is a scam because you gifted him the item with the false security that he will give it back and he didn't using social engineering skills to swindle you.
