TOPIC: Textscreens V2

No idea why my thread got locked but I still need help..

For every textscreen I see, there is a weird square over it like this:



Anyone know how to fix it?

Also, ignore what the textscreens say, it's worth a try.. xD

Try verifying your game cache.

i think the best thing you can do is the same as Morgan told you to just looked on google and i could not really find any solutions. I've seen people with this problem before but i don't know how they fixed it

Set this as your launch option
-dxlevel 95

It looks like you have material'd your text screens, so try going on the material tool and setting it to something see through i guess idk

Change color to it and set the color transparency to 0

This can be locked now.

If what slapy said fixed it I'm pretty sure you had directx forced to dx8, dx8 doesn't like materials and transparent objects.
