I'm thinking about resigning from moderator, but I had one concern. If I do resign do I get my previous rank back? (which was VIP)

Were you not already demoted?

No, why would I have been? I was away on vacation but I made a post about it.

EDIT: If you think I did because it doesn't say on forums, It never did.

If you were a donor moderator, or you had VIP prior to this - then you DO retain VIP.
