Suggestion Title: ban user from thread

How would it benefit the server: it would help keep people from shitposting on someones thread if the person that made the thread can just block/ban them from commenting on it

Potential Issues/Exploits: might get abused

Additional notes: it would help if someone is just randomly commenting or is just annoying on your thread you can block them from commenting on that thread so it wont be as annoying when you have to contact forums staff to have them remove that post that user made when you can just ban/block them from commenting on it

I heard of that, it's called removing posts.

Letting normal users to ban people and not allow people to post on their thread is pretty retarded, only staff should be allowed to do this.

Also, it's already here, staff can remove posts off of anything they want.

There is a lot of staff on steam, and if not there, I think there is at least one lead team staff member on TS all the time during the day. Why the forums?

Staff is almost always on on the forums, and if they see something violating the TOU, they'll remove the post / ban the user. Staff also read every thread so they can enforce the rules.

There is completely no need for this.

Click the "Report Post" button, and one of our staff members can deal with the post on that thread if the user is breaking TOU. This really just isn't needed in my opinion.

screw it clearly after reading other suggestions that not many forums suggestions are accepted anymore and this one is stupid in everyones eyes so i am denying my own suggestion
