Time Zone: EST Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198353207314/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:196470793 Current Gametracker Profiles: www.gametracker.com/player/Not%20Brian/d...arpgaming.com:27015/ Estimated Server Time: 1000+ hours (i've had multiple accounts over the years but this is my main now) Languages I Speak: English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: A "Random Death Match" or otherwise known as RDM is when player A kills player B for zero reason. He just did it just to do it. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: "New life rule or otherwise known as NLR is when you die in a situation or rp and your not allowed to go back to the RP/Situation until its over. An Example of his would be if Player B is raiding player A, and player A dies and comes back and kills Player B, that would be considered NLR Explain how you would handle the following situation: You are handling a report in which player A accuses player B of killing them for no reason in a report via the F1 system. I would bring them both to a area which is private, then ask player A if they have any Video Evidence to back their statement. While they tell their story, I look though logs to see if player B did really kill player A. Depending on if player A has video evidence I would either give player B a verbal warning or real warn depending on resent warns. Explain how you would handle the following situation: You witness a user mass RDMing in spawn, killing many people constantly to the point where users are complaining. I would freeze the player and jail then accordingly and contact higher ups for the ban. (don't remember if mods can ban or not) Why I should be chosen (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words): For a number of important reasons, I think I would make an excellent moderator. My primary objective upon returning to the server after a few years away is to assist in restoring the community to its former glory. I want to see the server's activity and quality increase because I care about it. I've gained an excellent grasp of what functions well and what requires improvement over the time I've spent on this server, both previously and after coming back. I have personally witnessed what can support and hinder zarp's success. In addition, my prior positions on this server and others have given me invaluable staffing experience. I've learned how to resolve disputes respectfully, communicate effectively, and apply the Server rules consistently and fairly thanks to this experience. I am aware that serving as a moderator entails accountability and leading by example. All things considered, I am committed, knowledgeable, and driven to offer my time and energy to support the server's recovery. Thank you for your time, Bman |
